Jill and Derick Dillard don’t just want your support on their missionary trip — they also want your http://www.pickedlooks.com/evening-dresses-c_13/.
In their most recent blog post, the couple updated fans on their trip, saying, “Thank you to God and all our prayer and financial partners. We cannot express enough gratitude for the ways God has been working through so many of you to make this transition for our family as smooth as possible. God has used you all to bless us and to make our vision a reality for those who have yet to put their faith in Jesus Christ, who is our only hope for salvation.”
And then added, with a link included, “If you would like to financially support our family ministry, you can do so here.”
The show was just recently canceled. Meaning, until the Josh Duggar scandal, checks were still coming in for the family.
And fans aren’t taking this too well with comments like, “These people are pathetic.”
Another added, “Quit asking for money Jill and Derrick [sic]! Now your cousin @amyduggar is asking for gifts and money as well! You people have some nerve. Everything people send you should be donated to charity. Shame on you all!!!”
According to a 2014 estimate, the Duggars were worth about $3.5 million and were getting paid $45,000 to $60,000 per episode of 19 Kids and Counting. Considering episodes only take a week to shoot generally, that is quite the hefty weekly paycheck. Hardly a family that should be asking for more, right?
